I would advise anyone considering using this shipper to avoid doing so.In January 2008, I had this company ship a mint condition 2001 Suzuki Katana with custom white "Nite Glow" paint job from North Carolina to Yuma Az.It was jammed in the very rear against the truck door, and was damaged during transit. The right front fairing was cracked, and a small chunk chewed out in the area adjacent to the gauges. I immediately filed a claim with the number listed on the shipping receipt and sent photos to the company in Kentucky. I even had the truck driver in the photo with his finger right on the damaged area. The individual in charge of these matters dismissed outright that they were responsible, and that the bike was in that condition when it left the pick up location in Carolina. This was an ebay purchase, and the seller had almost 600 sales with a 100% rating. He assured me that the bike was in perfect condition when it left his store. The truck driver agreed that it was obvious to him how the damage occurred, but of course was in no position to go to bat for me. Unless the truck transporting your cycle is clearly involved in a hiway accident and your bike sustains obvious damages due to that accident you are in no position to be able to collect regardless of how much it is banged around within the interior of the cab. Hiring a lawyer to fight the case in a state other than your own is a losing proposition, as the cost and logistics would be more than the vehicle is worth. Even though all evidence was clearly in my favor, the in house claims manager with this company refused to accept responsibility. This company has lost a potential frequent customer in North Carolina where my bike was picked up as I told him they blamed it on his shop. He is expanding his business, and was thinking of using these bums until this experience. This is a poorly run company, and I would strongly advise against shipping your precious cycle with these money hungry losers.
